Whether you love em, or you hate em- Overalls are a trend that doesn’t seem to be going anywhere anytime soon. While some fashion publications are completely over the thought of them (Ahem, Popsugar), some of us are still loving the super cozy, chic and laidback look of our denim overalls! And yes I know… Denim-on-denim is super hot right now, which means some of us- ie. me- are somewhat on track, right?! Regardless of trends and fads though, my philosophy about fashion and style will always remain unchanged:

If you feel good in it, you look good in it.

So now that we’ve got that out of the way, let’s talk some denim overalls, shall we?

These darlings are from one of my favorite Bohemian brands called Show Me Your Mumu! This brand honestly has some of the cutest, gasp-worthy clothes I’ve seen in a looong time. Trust- there’s not a lot that makes me gasp these days! We sell some of the pieces at my local South Moon Under, but you’ve got to check out their website to really see what I mean. So these overalls are based on a Mumu classic called the Berkeley Bell, which are glamorous bell bottoms that come in tons of colors and a couple prints! The overalls though are super comfortable, stretchy and extremely flattering for my figure. The best part is how versatile these are- just add a sweater and they look like jeans for a completely different look!!

For this look though, I paired my Berkeley Bell Overalls with a tan Forever 21 bodysuit, black rope belt for waist-cinching and my favorite cognac booties. By the way, these pictures were all shot at the North Carolina Museum of Art off of Lake Boone Trail!
